Profits up at Hardware & Lumber
Hardware and Lumber ended the March quarter on a positive note recording a modest profit. Profit after tax amounted to a little more than $700,000, which was a turnaround from the $10 million loss it recorded last year. Revenues were up 2% at $1.46 billion.
